THE PRODUCER
This coffee was grown on the Karagatha Coffee Estate in Nakuru, Kiambu, Kenya. The coffee was grown at an elevation of around 1500-1600 MASL. This lot is an auction lot that comes to us from Torch Coffee.
THE PROCESS
This lot is a honey process, which is of note as Kenya primarily produces washed coffees.
WHY WE LOVE IT
In this coffee we're tasting a delicate balance of sweetness and tea-like qualities. The blend of high quality varietals in the lot adds to the balance in the cup. We're tasting notes of mango nectar, black tea, and cardamom syrup.
